My main counselling approach is person-centered and strength based. I am empathetic and non-judgmental, as it is important for clients to feel heard, understood and supported.

I provide confidential support and like to work alongside the client to increase their understanding of themselves, whilst encouraging and helping them develop and improve their resilience and well-being.

 

I like using a holistic approach whilst introducing different creative therapeutic interventions to meet an individual’s needs, such as drawing, writing, pictures, cards and role play.

Confidentiality:

I provide a confidential counselling service. Under the NZAC Code of Ethics, whilst counselling sessions are confidential, exceptions are made when there is evidence of risk or harm to the client or someone else.  In such cases, we will work together to seek support to keep you safe.
